I keep saying we’re done—then I see the smiles, the joy this brings, and the crowd that has supported us for so many years. It’s bittersweet to notice some familiar faces missing, but incredibly exciting to welcome so many new ones. Thirty-two years is no joke. I am beyond proud to have delivered top-notch entertainment to Southeast Wisconsin, and especially to our ever-growing small (and historic) town of East Troy. And so, the story continues…
It is becoming harder and harder to bring in true, traditional Bluegrass music, but my quest continues—along with a few surprises. Our mission has always been to preserve and promote the heritage of Bluegrass music in America, and specifically here in our beloved Midwest. We even challenge some of the younger jam-grass bands to step up and play traditional Bluegrass for you (and I think they secretly love it!).
As our genre continues to evolve—and it is—I remain committed to preserving and promoting the roots of Bluegrass music. This year is no exception. We have a great lineup, and I stand firmly behind it.
We are especially excited about our youth acts—please come out and support them. It’s no easy feat, and they deserve the encouragement.
As always, we need volunteers, and we are always grateful for donations. Costs rise every year, and somehow it feels like we start over each time—but we keep going because of you.
